- "Prayer is not simply an important activity, but the very center of the new life."
- The result of prayer is to "Learn to listen to the guidance of Him who prays in us."
- "It is our great task to stand firm to the end, to proclaim the Good News to the world, and to hold on to him who rose victorious from the grave."

I have never heard it said like his second comment. "the result of prayer is to learn to listen to the guidance of Him who prays in us."
That is really cool. I didn't know that God prays in us.
I have heard it said that pray is critical to God working. almost like "God's hands are tied until we pray." I don't think that is scriptural, but is kind of an intersesting way of thinking about the importance of prayer. I don't think that God is ever dependent on us, but what do you think about that statement?
RE God praying in us - it is hard to grasp, one of those "too good to be true" things, but the Holy Spirit dwells within us, intercedes for us etc. Look at verse links in the 'Service' blog.
You're right, God's hands are never tied. In His great love, He will involve us, but He is absolutely independant of us.
